Saffron quality

Our saffron is known as the "azafran saffron" quality. It is a type of saffron that is considered the very best type which is provided by Iran, the largest manufacturer of Saffron worldwide. The "Azafran Saffron" is dried in air and this is what gives it a distinctive flavor while Spanish saffron is toasted and has a typical roasted flavor. "Our Saffron" has a high content of crocin being in excess of 270. This value is derived from the quality of the saffron level on Category 1 of the international ISO standard (3632).

Crocin is a natural colorant which causes the orange-red color of the stigma ,however, it also contributes to the taste of the saffron. And because there is a lot of crocin in "our saffron", this is often referred to as the best type of saffron. Also, "negin saffron" is more appealing compared to other types of saffron because of its longer threads and high quality.
